Iko & J. Schmutzer, Holy Trinity with three personifications, 1924-1925, teak, 115 x 105 x 47 cm, Missiemuseum Steyl, Netherlands, Object. nr. Schm01

This version features three different figures representing the father, son, and the Holy Spirit. The shape of the seat, as well as the ornamental motifs, is derived from a similar seat from Candi Plaosan. The Parang roesaq motif is applied to the kain, or sarong. It is on loan from the Schmutzer family to the Mission Museum Steyl. Source: Schmutzer, Ten Berge, Maas, Europeanisme of katholicisme, 71-73.
